Cambridge Homes was a full brand creation project, developed to reflect their position as a trusted New Zealand home builder and a genuine “building buddy” for their customers.
The brief was to create a brand that felt dependable, approachable, and easy to engage with. Buying or building a home can be overwhelming, so the identity needed to remove that friction and build confidence from the very first touchpoint.
At the centre of the brand is a logo built around a simple but meaningful idea. The form is inspired by a cube, a room, the most fundamental building block of any home. It represents the starting point of every build, a defined space where something bigger begins. This concept gave the brand a strong, grounded foundation while subtly reinforcing Cambridge Homes’ role in shaping that journey.
The project covered everything from logo design and visual identity through to signage, vehicle wraps, and marketing collateral. Every element was designed to work consistently across multiple regions including Auckland, Waikato, Tauranga, Wellington, and beyond.
A key focus was creating a brand that could scale. It needed to feel equally strong on a roadside sign, a construction site, a vehicle wrap, or a digital platform. The design system was built to be flexible, recognisable, and easy to roll out across all customer touchpoints.
The result is a cohesive, nationwide brand that supports Cambridge Homes’ reputation for quality construction, while reinforcing their role as a reliable, down-to-earth partner throughout the home building journey.
